Seoul, South Korea

Steeped in tradition, culture, and history Seoul is a destination not to be missed.  It has survived dynasties, invasions, and war.  Throughout all of this the city showcases relics from the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze and Iron ages.  These rare artifacts and cultural gems are hidden though out the city.

With a population over 48.60 million people you would not think South Korea would be known as the “Land of the Morning Calm.” Founded in tradition Korea is also embracing the current trends.  Over the last 4 years has made a switch from focusing on agriculture to manufacturing.  With this change they have quickly moved into the world’s number 12 trade position.   South Korea has something for everyone!  Whether you are looking to explore the past or embrace to hustle and bustle you will be welcomed by this countries overwhelming energy.

Course Location

Our school is located in the popular and well-known Gangnam area of Seoul, near Yangjae subway station.  Our TESOL Korea course center is the exclusive teacher training partner in South Korea for TEFL International and works with a number of national Korean universities throughout the peninsula to offer in-service training to Korean public school teachers.

Many Asian countries require English language teachers to be certified. Many teachers in Korea that are native- speaking English teachers working in Korea are hired because they are native-speakers and university graduates. Being a native English speaker and a degree holder doesn’t necessarily mean they have developed the skills and tools needed to effectively manage, and enjoy, the classroom setting. Teachers that have been teaching for more than a year in Korea may have systems and methods in place to get through their job, but want a “booster” on how to add more variety to their classes, make them more exciting and help them reach lesson objectives better.
