Often touted as one of the most magical and mystical places on Earth, Nepal is a land of sublime scenery rich in history, time-worn temples and ancient religious significance. Nepal is home to some of the best hiking trails on Earth and those that visit say one trip is simply not enough. But it’s not just the landscape that will capture you.

Kathmandu is home to most of the Nepalese government offices, embassies, corporate houses and the old palaces. Durbar Square is home to the headquarters of UNESCO world heritage sites. The Shah King’s Palace stands next to Thamel, the tourist hub of the country and is home to hotels, shops, and restaurants.

Wondering what to do on the weekend or upon completion of the course? Have an adventure kayaking, rafting, canyoning, mountain biking or trekking. Take in the breathtaking view of the Himalayas, listed as one of the 50 places to see before you die by the BBC. Relax with a yoga or meditation class, or learn about Tibetan Buddhism. Course Location

The course is situated near the Putalisadak area of central Kathmandu. There are many local shops nearby to buy snacks from and both Western and Nepali-style restaurants to visit during lunchtime. Additionally, there is a garden area for you to relax in during breaks and lunchtime. This is a great location to undertake your TESOL certificate studies and serves as a great base for finding a job upon completion of the course.

Course Fees

The course fee is $1,390 without accommodation.

Accommodations

Accommodation in Kathmandu ranges from $200-400 per month and are typically in either a basic or standard option hotel with a single, double or twin beds, a wardrobe, a small desk and a private bathroom with a shower. Some rooms may have a TV. All rooms have hot water. All rooms and hotel meet our expected level of cleanliness and standards. Hotels also have a restaurant, room service, laundry, room cleaning and at least one outside area (a garden, balcony or roof terrace.) Some hotels have internet and WiFi. Make sure you book your course early so you have the closest, best choice of accommodation s those options closer to the center tend to be taken quickly!
